A pioneering Islamic center project in Tokyo — strengthening identity, connecting with society.
We are pleased to announce the Arab Islamic Complex Project in Tokyo, a comprehensive center that aims to:
Strengthen Islamic identity and serve the Muslim community in Japan.
Build bridges of communication with Japanese society through religious, cultural, and social programs.
Introduce Islam to Japanese people and non-Muslims in a refined and culturally as well as linguistically clear manner.
Provide religious education in three languages: Arabic, Japanese, and English.
We believe this complex will become a modern Islamic beacon and a center for dialogue, education, and community service. We are striving to achieve this vision in collaboration with supporters of good from both inside Japan and abroad.
We strive to establish a comprehensive Islamic center in Japan that contributes to enhancing cultural understanding and cooperation between Muslims and Japanese society, providing a model for harmonious coexistence and positive integration.
Serving all segments of the Muslim community

Providing religious knowledge in multiple languages
Establishing an educational institution that offers religious sciences in Arabic, Japanese, and English, with the help of specialized scholars capable of delivering fatwas and knowledge effectively.
Strengthening Islamic and Arab identity
Designing mosques and facilities that reflect Arab-Islamic architecture, serving as a distinguished cultural landmark representing Islamic architecture and culture in Tokyo.
A bridge between Muslims and Japanese society
Creating a religious complex that facilitates communication and understanding between Muslims and Japanese society, and promotes dialogue between the Islamic world and Japan.
A social and educational center
Providing spaces for gatherings and educational and cultural activities for both adults and children, enhancing interaction between community members and the center’s officials.
Meeting community needs
Establishing a comprehensive complex that fulfills the religious, social, and cultural needs of Muslims in Japan’s capital, serving as a hub for all mosque- and community-related services.
The idea of the Japan Islam Center emerged to meet the urgent need for establishing an entity that embodies Arab and Islamic identity within Japanese society. The project was initiated by a group of Muslims residing in Japan, aiming to create a unified center that combines worship, education, da’wah (Islamic outreach), and community service, serving as a beacon for Muslims and a source of cultural influence in the country.
After extensive consultations with community members and experts in Islamic work, the vision of the project took shape in 2025 as a modern cultural center that serves Muslims and introduces Islam to non-Muslims in an open-minded manner, using clear linguistic and cultural approaches. The project is currently in the legal and funding establishment phase, with its founders hoping it will become a blessed cornerstone for the Islamic presence in Japan.
We strive to serve the Muslim community in Japan and introduce Japanese society to Islam through a comprehensive center that combines worship, education, and cultural exchange, serving as a beacon for dialogue and understanding between cultures.
By the grace and guidance of God, the team of the Japan Islam Center has made significant strides toward turning the vision into a tangible reality, including:
Preparing the detailed vision and operational plan for the project.
We have completed all the legal procedures and are now officially registered and recognized in Japan.
Collaborating with engineers and designers to create a modern architectural model for the complex.
Building a network of advisors and supporters from within Japan and abroad.
Launching the first awareness campaign to enhance community engagement.
We are proud of this beginning and strive for further progress with your support and cooperation, God willing.

The event aims to enhance mutual understanding and cultural closeness, promoting the values of tolerance and coexistence between Muslims and non-Muslims in Japan.
In addition to the main Japan Islam Center in Tokyo, we plan—God willing—to establish small local branches in the form of mosques in various regions across Japan. This initiative aims to serve Muslims spread from north to south and expand the social and religious impact of the center.
Provide suitable places of worship for Muslims in remote areas.
Support the local community through educational, cultural, and social activities.
Enhance communication between Muslims and local Japanese people in a spirit of understanding and tolerance.
Contribute to supporting the mission of the main Islamic center according to the capacity and resources of each branch.
These images reflect what we aspire to achieve, God willing.
The cost of establishing each branch (small local mosque) ranges approximately between $200,000 and $1,500,000 USD, depending on the building size, location, and level of facilities.
Monthly operational costs vary according to the nature of each mosque and the services provided.
